Seniors Adopt Seniors

It is time to reach out to our Senior citizens… about 3 months ago we started our newest program--Seniors Adopt Seniors Program. The Souris Valley Humane Society understands that many seniors throughout our community are living on a fixed income. We also know that many animals are abandoned as they age for a variety of reasons. Our Seniors Adopt Seniors Program places mature cats and dogs (typically over 5 years of age) with qualified senior citizens who are 65 years of age or older at a $10 savings. If however, the animal is not older than 5 years we still offer a senior discount of $5.

Furthermore and in addition to our Seniors Adopt Seniors Program we’ve implemented a special Senior Membership at $15 per year.
