KRISTINE SEABOLT ~ A Minot native, Kristine was raised an Air Force brat. She has a darling 3-year-old son, Emmett, who brings such enjoyment to Kristine’s life. She is a dedicated and devoted single mother. She is the owner of 2 dogs, a Black Lab mix named Cyan and a Husky mix named Miki. She also has 3 cats named Raisin, Calypso and Ebony. In her spare time Kristine enjoys reading and spending time with family and increasing her collectables, including unicorns. Kristine is the Shelter Manager (email Kristine) and has worked at the shelter for 10+ years.

DARLA YLINIEMI ~ Darla is from Minot and has been married to Kelvin for 18 years. Kelvin retired from the USAF. They have 3 children: Faith, 17, Ryan, 14 and Justin, 13. In her spare time, Darla likes to read, ride horses and watch movies. She has 4 dogs named Max, Pibb, Jani and Buddy and 2 cats named Sassy and Shadow. Darla is the Programs Manager (email Darla) and has worked at the shelter for 10+ years.

SUSAN WAGERS ~ Susan is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and is an Air Force brat and spouse. She and her husband Charlie have been married for 22 years and have 2 sons, Justin, 20 and Zachary, 15. She has 2 cats named Nala and Penny and one dog named Peanut. In her spare time Susan enjoys reading and writing and has a secret obsession with Ping Pong. She is the Executive Assistant (email Susan) and has worked at the shelter since January 2006.

VANESSA CARNS ~ Vanessa is from Williston, North Dakota and she and boyfriend, Charles Inman now make their home in Minot. Her immediate family includes 3 cats named Simon, (an SVHS alumni), Gracy and Simba and a rat named Peeka, also adopted from SVHS. When not at the shelter, Vanessa enjoys reading, surfing the internet, playing video games, going out with family and friends and listening to heavy music. Vanessa is the Kennel Supervisor.

MANDY WILLIAMSON ~ Mandy, the daughter of an Air Force member, was born at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. She comes from a family of animal lovers and their pets include cats, dogs, horses and birds … they are Sammy, Alice, Mittens, Sugar, Spice Jack, Strike, Carter and Mandy’s own beloved dog, Buddie (an SVHS alumni). Her interests and hobbies include collecting pig items, hanging out with friends, playing with Buddie, and dancing. Mandy has a darling fiancée named Tyler and they'll be married in 2009. Mandy is our Customer Service Representative.

SARA LEVADNEY ~ Sara is from right here in Minot and is engaged to be married. She has a beautiful 2-year-old daughter named Soraea. The rest of her family includes Mocha (Pug), a kitty named Blue and a smattering of aqua-life with fish and turtles. She enjoys reading, playing games and arts and crafts. Sara worked here before and missed the animals so much, she decided to come back part time in addition to going to school.

KARI GEIS ~ Kari is the newest employee at SVHS and is originally from Minot but lived for a time in Alliance, Nebraska when her family moved there. She married her high school sweetheart, Aaron and they call Berthold home. They have 2 pets, a 3 yr old Welsh Corgi named Dolly and a 3 foot long snake named Rex. Her hobbies include playing Xbox360 with her hubby, hunting, fishing and snowboarding. She also likes to kick back and watch football too! Welcome to the pack Kari!!

ERICKA ADAMS ~ Ericka is one of our newest Kennel Attendents. She hails from Casey, Illinois and came to Minot when her boyfriend Wade (one of our faithful volunteers) settled here. Back in Illinois Ericka owned and operated a hair salon......maybe we should watch for our pets here to have some fancy hairdo's? Ericka and Wade have 2 dogs, a Weimeraner named GG and Hound mix, Gus, who weighs in at a trim 100 pounds! When not at work caring for the critters, she enjoys going to the Dog Park with her pups and watching movies with Gus and GG.......and Wade! Welcome Ericka!!

AARON GEIS ~ Aaron is the husband Kari, one of our Kennel Attendants. He hails from Alliance, Nebraska where he met his bride. He was formerly in the Navy as a Helicopter mechanic and still dabbles in mechanics when he can. Along with Kari, he enjoys his XBox 360 and enjoys football, both playing and watching. Welcome Aaron!
